Information about this Stainless Steel Hardware: Stainless steel shutter hardware is what you'll want if you live in a coastal area and have to contend with warm salt air. This stainless steel hardware is made from 304 series that has a proprietary coating (similar to galvanization, but refined to suit stainless steel) before being powder coated for optimal corrosion resistance.  This shutter hardware will last 1000 hours in salt spray testing, making it ideal for coastal applications.
